26th June 2009 - Last FDI cake bake today as well as the 2nd raffle. Got to get all I can out of the FDI pool before I leave. Even went round with my collection tin before I left every penny counts. Well I count them all and put them in little bags and take them to the bank.

At 108% I am so HAPPY aiming for 150% now

14th June 2009 - We did the race for life today, excellent run by Nicola, Jen & Irina, more moderate walk by myself, Jackie and Laura. Brilliant day.

6th June 2009 - Street collection today. The wind whisteling, rain pouring down Corringham has never looked better. After filling out 400 forms, having a medical and a phyc evaluation for the Council to get my license the one golden day of opportunity was offered and I had to take it.
Not a bad haul considering everyone was rushing to get out of the cold and rain.

5th June 2009- Another successful cake bake, sold out before the end :0) which means the rumours of poisonings from the last bake were sucessfully quashed. One monetary bribe and a small intimidation easy.

4th June 2009 - Curry night last night was absolutely brilliant, loads of excellent food and good company we raised £381.00 in tickets and collections WELL DONE everyone and a special thanks to Jhauls @ MALDON TANDOORI who was the best host ever :0) full restaurant recommendation YUM YUM

18th May 2009 - Did my first double this weekend on holiday with D and surprisingly didn't die. The "running" up and down the stairs at work must be paying off.....

25th April 2009 - Walked the wall today, already?? I hear you ask I thought that wasn't until October, not China silly, Canvey!! was surprisingly quite beautiful.

19th April 2009 - Received vouchers form Nando's and Wagamama's on Thursday - the ask letters are working. Kept up my training this weekend, Pole Dancing as an alternative to walking brilliant exercise my stiff muscles say (especially the ones that are normally dormant) but surprisingly dangerous ............ chaffing, ouch

11th April 2009 - Everything hurts after walking to lakeside yesterday (to persuade other stores to give me things for free - charity not shopping lifting) and walking to the pub today - the LONG way through the woods and not a teddy picnic in site, tomorrow I'm going to treat myself to an egg and a mmmm walk.

9th April 2009 - got home to find Tesco had sent me a £50 gift voucher for my new raffle. Thanks Tesco :0)

3rd April 2009 - Thanks to my beautiful assistant Jackie and my bevy of bakers we raised £151.12 and no-one died...................YET. I must point out there is no liability past point of sale. The raffle was also a massive success.

30th March 2009 - Wow 25% already. Brilliant!! Thank you everyone.

16th March 2009 - After a day relaxing at the spa the ideas were coming thick and fast and so were the offers of support, monetary and otherwise. Sweet sales, quiz nights, raffles, bake sales, mini walks. We are cooking now.

12th March 2009 - First climb up the stairs at work, treated the first landing as base camp and so stopped for a snack, made it to the fourth floor in the second hour. Is that good??

8th March 2009 - Put up my sad face because I had just started and didn't know how I was possibly going to raise all the money I had committed to or maybe I was just sad because I had run out of beer...................
